This drawing was part of a collection of sketches my grandfather (Jack Kirby) drew for my grandmother, Roz. These sketches were drawn as an anniversary present for her and later collected in the book "Jack Kirby's Heroes and Villains." Each sketch was printed on Giclee Archival fine art paper. These prints were not mass-produced. Only a few were printed for each sketch.
My grandfather loved drawing Big Barda and wanted to create a female super hero who was both intelligent and powerful.
